Jenkins of Retford (founded 1896) and Newell Dunford (founded 1892) are internationally recognised names in the field of processing engineering. Operating today as JND Technologies (incorporating Magco-Tollemache), thermal and size reduction solutions are provided to a diverse range of industry such as food processing, chemical, minerals, metals, gypsum, glass and recycling.
JND Thermal Technology design and build rotary dryers, kilns and coolers. JND Reduction Technology sizes a wide range of minerals and glass whereas Tollemache shredders handle domestic and industrial waste for recycling. JND Rod & Ball Mills grind minerals and various other products. A wide spectrum of services are offered including a consultancy service providing technical advice relating to new process applications, the upgrading of existing plant to higher efficiencies and general product support.
Other operating divisions within the JND Group are Protran who build LPG vehicles and Reader a supplier of grouts and grouting equipment both above and below ground.
